Neon light sign of a pawn shop in Hong Kong
$199.00
Hong Kong has over 180 licensed pawn shops which could be easily identified by their traditional “inverted bat holding a coin” signs. These shops are regulated by the Pawnbrokers Ordinance which caps interest at 3.5% per lunar month.
Overhead neon light signs are still popular in Hong Kong though safety regulations have been applied for years to remove them.
